Every time I access a PDF the AdobeARM is detected by my firewall, ZoneAlarm. I always deny the outgoing connection attempt. From similar responses to opening other media files in common progs like Media Player, et al, I suspect it is akin to a tracking, permission or copyright check of the file. This is becoming the norm of recent for accessing almost anything with a high profile media prog. I do note there is no problem viewing the file after denial, unlike some of the above inferred progs (ahem!). And thanks to ZoneAlarm for the instant headzup and choice (unlike Windows OEM firewall). |

Im trying to download gunz and when it says install and all that it goes half way (takes about 3 seconds) and stops and says error opening file or writing: c:programfiles_maiet_gunz_gunzlauncher.exe click abort to stop the installation retry to try again or ignore to skip this file. what do i do ?. |

I recently had a virus/trojan, and ran a platform recovery on my windows vista. im trying to re-patch everything, starting with internet firefox. while i transfer i should get a box asking if id like to run, but instead its asking me to save or open. after i copy, i get this difficulty information: iesetup.exe - entry point not found the procedure entry point shreggetvaluew could not be located in the dynamic link library shlwapi.dll please help me, i dont know what this means at all, and i would like to update my ie.... |
