While I load my notebook, I get an problem information that my windows file attrib.exe file cannot be located. I believe this is what is causing my microsoft photo editor application to not run. I get an issue giving message that file types cannot be located. is the not located attrib.exe file causing this? in any case, how do I safely replace that file in my windows xp sp2 operating operating operating system?. |

Hi! im really having some errors with both my notebook and pc. I think they were infected by some sort of virus/malware. I already cleaned my pc with spyware terminator and f-secure but still issue occurs. this is what happens notebook: everytime I plug in my usb flash drive, these problems appear (xcopy.exe attrib.exe). I attempted closing them but still they keep on popping. bad thing is I cant shutown the laptop afterwards. pc: happens when I remove a disc from the dvd drive. same fault appears. but. |

I dont know what happens to my pc. my attrib.exe file isnt located in system32. and when i want to use the attrib command in cmd it says that attrib not recognized internal or external command. i attempt distinct by inserting vista cd in by typing sfc /scannow command but its also didnt work for me. so can any one assist me. or tell me where can i transfer that attrib.exe from net and put it in system32 folder. thanx in advance for any advice... |

In the windows task manager for windows xp, there are 6 attrib.exe processes running right now using at least above 8, 000k of memory each, sometimes over 40, 000k. the notebook also has multiple windows that say hard drive failure - the system has detected a difficulty with one or more installed ide/sata hard disks. it is recommended that you restart your notebook. one window says windows - delayed write filed - windows was unable to save all the data for the file \\system32\\496a8300. the data has been lost. this difficulty may be caused by a failure of your laptop hardware. but, there has been no blue image of death. is this a dangerous file or a real hard drive issue? regardless, what would be th... |
