My notebook has just recovered from a spyware and everything seems fine apart from an occasional random sound, which sounds like a person talking like in an advert or anything but just cuts off and i get a windows warning thing giving message software had to close or something, and its some random. exe which i have never seen before. im wondering if this is still the virus, but anti-virus scans show nothing. how would i get rid of it? ill try and get the code next time it happens. also im running on windows xp. the code was cy1532y3.exe... |

Recently, i dont know how, i dont know why, but everytime i try to browse, i get redirected to 95p.com. and when i toggle to any browser, i get redirected to mediashifting.com. i attempted scanning, but i cannot find something. i tried going to regedit and tried to locate the random.exe and some other files in hkcu and some other directories but located that i dont have those directories or files in my registry. in regedit, i have hkey_classes_root, hkey_current_user, hkey_local_machine, hkey_users, hkey_current_config. i dont have any antivirus running and would love it if you guys can tell me the best free internet security and the best internet security which i can buy. any alert on how i c... |

I cant run malwarebytes and cant open the internet. ive read that you should alt ctrl del (random).exe and can not find that. i have scanned with kapersky but it found 0 viruses. what should i do next?... |

Ok so ive looked up another ways to get rid of the stupid dangerous file and please dont tell me to get an antivirus thing, ive tried those and all they do is tell me what is wrong and then say i must buy the complete package to actually get rid of the problems. so i would like steps to how to manually get rid of it! but here is the wierd thing.when i use the task bar and go to processes, there is no [random].exe or av.exe or anything else that says the xp antivirus is there. also when i go to the registry files there are no files giving message that it is there so there isnt anything for me to cancel! please advice! thank you guys! all i had to do was restore malware doctor and search it.though i couldnt repair ... |

The title doesnt make sense, disregard it. basically, i know that if i transfer over say random.exe into my c:\windows folder i can access it by going to run -gt; cmd -gt; random.exe. however, im attempting to install again the sysinternals suite into c:\windows, and since there are a lot of applications i was wondering if there was a way to shop them all in c:\windows\sysinternals and then having it search for programs to run there, too. any ideas? i already knew all of this. however, im looking for a way to contain them in a folder and not have to change directory using cd to run them.... |
