Now, in task mgr, i see a lot of new processes that werent there before i uninstalled. i did a re-install point before i uninstalled it since i did this before, and a fake scanner popped up and i immediately closed it (no browser was open). i have tasks like multiple rundll32.exes running (under the account name, not under platform), taskhost.exe. im scared that these tasks are diguised under windows processes because they are being run by my username, not by the local network or by the operating operating system. can someone assist me with this situation and provide links to message about multiple rundll32.exes and multiple taskhost.exes? the descriptions sound like windows system knockoff descriptions. help! edi...

I have had a recent error on my pc that taskhost.exe is always starting and uses 35% of my cpu! i know its taskhost because ive used resource manager to tell me whats using my cpu. im using windows 7 64bit. i know what taskhost is and i do not need it in anyway to run the applications i use, because while i end the process it doesnt affect the performance in anyway. the reason i want to block the process is because it continues comming back and severely laggs the fps of my games and slows some programs....

I dont have two winlogin but two taskhost.exe advice me to delete it i have a avg antivirus but i dont know what to do...

I can delete it in the task manager, but within half an hour or so it come back on again ive scanned my computer with avast anti virus and nothing showed up how do i stop/fix it ?.

I moved the setting and im not sure if its normal. is taskmgr.exe set on high on the priority on your computer as well or is it me? winlogon.exe is that set on high also? taskhost.exe set on normal on priority? thank you.

I had two on my computer, and one was from my computer and other said local, so i ended the process. was that a virus? i virus scanned my computer 2 times and nothing appeared. i even restarted the computer to see if the process was normal but it did not appear again. did i just do something bad for my computer? by ending the process.
